Let’s face it. At times life can be stressful, leaving us worn out, uncentered and feeling disconnected.
Of the many directions to consider, we should not overlook one of the most empowering routes of all – the one that goes within.

This 2-hour-course will introduce several basic methods which can be used to achieve (minimally) the following:
  • Relieve stress and anxiety.
  • Become more present and centered.
  • Gain clarity and insight.
  • Improve communication skills.
  • Encourage a fresh perspective.
  • Refresh your being.

Through meditation, mindful movement exercises and paired practices, we can learn how to steady our minds no matter the situation. By doing so, we are able to improve overall health and participate in life more fully, with a sense of calm and restored ability.

This workshop will be offered at various times throughout the year. Please check our Seminars/Activities page for specific dates.

COST: $25 donation (this will support the programs and services we offer to the community)
Spaces are limited, so contact us here to reserve your spot, or call (815) 444-6019.
Please wear comfortable clothes that allow movement, and please bring a cushion for sitting.

(This is the first in a series of Mindfulness workshops, and will be a prerequisite for participation in Levels II and III.)
